I can't contact ebay at all now. The chat is stalled out and they have no logical phone number
You just gotta love it.
I can't call ebay unless I want to talk to their stupid AI response all day and hear it say "I'm sorry. I didn't get that. Can you say that again?" Uhhhh, no. As a matter of fact, I can't.
And the chat is sort of stalled. It shows me prior chats but it won't allow me to start a new one.
How can I contact ebay??? And maybe a better question is, what alternatives are there to ebay so we don't have to endure such crappy treatment?

OP10 months agoNope. Turns out now they got rid of that page where the link would allow you to have them call you. It's now just the generic link again where you have to go through their normal "contact us" hoops of fire to get to anyone. Though mine is working now, previously it wasn't working so I couldn't get to anyone.

OP10 months agoUh-oh. My contact us link is NOT working now after all. So I'm right back where I started from. I can't contact ebay.

Some time shortly after the first of December the direct link to request a call back stopped working and began redirecting to the generic Help page.
If you cannot use the chat assistant, try contacting eBay via social media direct message. Or post a question here for suggestions from experienced users.
