I can't cancel an item ive sold but not shipped

I recently sold an item buy i can't cancel it because it says it's been shipped although it hasn't. What will happen if i don't ship it? Or what can I do to cancel the sale

If you created a shipping label, void the label. That should change it back to not shipped. If not, you should be able to select â€˜mark as not shippedâ€™ in your list of sold items.

To void the label -

Go to Manage shipping labels.
Find the item you'd like to void the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select More Actions, and then select Void.
Choose your reason for voiding the label. If you want to, you can add a message for the buyer.
Select Void shipping label.

If you donâ€™t cancel and refund the buyer, and donâ€™t ship, the buyer will file a not received claim and you will have to refund that way. The not received claim is not good for your seller performance service metrics.
