I canceled an order, of which I am the seller. But the money has come into my ebay account

Hi today I canceled an order that I didn't even ship yet because the buyer was being incredibly shady. But now the money from that sale has come into my ebay account and It is a lot of money. Does cancelling the right order return all the money straight away or is there a different process? Please I don't want any trouble having the money of an item I didn't even sell.

I don't see a large sale, or any sale since 6/27, so how can you have received a large payment? How could you have cancelled a sale when you haven't made any? Don't go by an email.

When you cancel a sale that has been paid, you have to provide the funds to return the money to the buyer. Then as soon as the payment has cleared processing, eBay will release the payment back to you, and reverse the fees.

Since the money is in your payment account, check your bank account or credit card to see the refund to the buyer, depending on what you have selected as your preferred method for paying seller fees.
