I canceled an items and items still went

Question

I sold something I dropped it at UPS then later on realizing i was supposed to drop it at usps. The customer get the item but I had already refunded his money but now I’m out of money and my item. How can I get my money or item back

Why would you have refunded your buyer, even though you used the wrong shipping service? They were going to receive it though you may have paid more to ship it. You would have had to eat that cost, but not the whole price + shipping.

All you can do now is to message the buyer, explain what happened and ask if they would be willing to pay for the item, by sending a money order less the cost of the money order. There's no requirement for a buyer to do that, but an honest one would probably agree.

In the future make sure you ship items using the service posted in your listings.
