I can’t get in touch with a live agent to take an improper hold off my credit card.
Several weeks ago I attempted to purchase a rather expensive item on eBay. In an abundance of caution my credit card company put a temporary hold on my credit card. EBAY immediately followed suit. I then contacted my credit card company and informed them that it was not a fraudulent transaction and they took the hold off. I have been unsuccessful in contacting a live agent at eBay to get them to remove their hold.

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.
