@steschi_60 The penalty is the seller has to pay return shipping and refund you 100%. This counts on a sellers service metrics too.

If eBay has to step in and force a refund then the seller receives a Defect and doesn't get their sellers fees back. You can ask eBay to step in and help on the 4th business day after opening a return request if the seller doesn't provide a return shipping label or a refund.
