I bought an item from an Israeli account seller. Item received was damaged but not only.
It was sent to me from AMAZON, accompanied by a Gift Certificat! No receipt. Then when I communicated with seller regarding the damage, asking for replacement or full return/refund... I only received a label with a Californian name and address as sender (seller) addressed to AMAZON Returns, rather than a label from me to the original account's name or location!
It seems rather sketchy and against ebay policies to me. Should I report this?

There are sellers that sell on both Amazon and ebay, and use FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) so their inventory is stored at Amazon. When an item is sold, Amazon FBA will ship it out. This is perfectly fine with both ebay and Amazon.
What is NOT fine is for a seller to advertise a product for sale, and when it is sold, they go to Amazon and make the purchase, sending it to the buyer using their Prime account. You will know this if there is a GIFT receipt in the package. Report this to ebay, and leave calm factual feedback.

·1 year agoIf it had an Amazon Gift Receipt in the package, then they purchased it after completing the sale to you and had it shipped from a seller on Amazon, which is not allowed by eBay policy. You can definitely report that if you wish, though bear in mind you won't be notified in any action is taken against the seller. You can also complete the return with the information provided to you and you should be fully refunded.
