I bid, then looked closer at the seller
I made an offer on an item and it was accepted. While I'm happy to pay for what I offered on, I am concerned that it is not a real listing the closer I look. There are no real pictures (all stock), the content is all from the item description on the product's www site and the seller has "sold" 152 items but only has 7 feedback responses, all 100% positive. It's new, the "buy it now" amount listed is exactly half the cost of a new item. It just seems a little fishy - I probably wouldn't have offered had I noticed earlier. Is there a way I can ask eBay to ask the seller to verify it's a real listing - not a stolen account or fraudulent attempt to get money before I pay? I sent a message to the seller but haven't heard back.

You must pay for the purchase, there is no way to "verify" the listing.
If you do not receive the item or if it is not as described, you can use Ebay's 30 day Money Back Guarantee to help you get a refund.

Always look at all of the details of the listing BEFORE making an offer/bidding.
