I bid for an item and was outbid it said this item got away from me

Then less then 12hours later it was relisted same exact item why did I lose the bid kinda shady to me someone please explain now if there was a reserve not met message that would be understood someone please explain this to me and how would I go about correcting this issue

You lost because someone bid more than you. There are several valid reasons why an item that sold at auction would be relisted (buyer backed out, seller has a duplicate, error in the listing etc.). You either bid on the new auction or you don't.
