I am the only one who's lost all trust in ebay lately? 25yr member about to close account.
Forget about the archaic non-intuitive layout from the 90s of the whole site but am I the only long time member who has lost all faith in ebay? I mean, if you can even find a phone number the universe will collapse on itself before a real person materializes on the other end. The lack of immediate resolution from a human and the longer turnaround times are causing real harms to real people in the real world and the human element at some point in the customer experience chain will be the difference these short sighted companies fail to realize with AI erasing most "non-essesntial" jobs. Sure most of the younger generation probably prefer not to deal with a person...until they NEED to deal with a person but if the younger generation were really in ebay's mind the site wouldn't feel like a user interface from the 90s. I've been a member for over 25yrs and I can't wait for the latest scam I've been victim of on here to resolve itself so I can cancel and never look back.
Do better ebay before someone else does and you go the way of the Blockbusters, Myspace's and Nokia's of the world that as mom used to say "...got too big for their britches". smh
