I am mute and need help verifying my temporarily restricted account
Hello. I am a mute person and cannot speak. My eBay account was temporarily restricted and I need to verify my identity to restore access.
Unfortunately, the live chat assistant only offers a phone call, which I cannot use. I kindly ask for a way to contact a live agent via text only (email or chat).
Please help me confirm that my account is secure and not compromised. I am the rightful owner and can answer any questions in writing.

The automated assistant can be difficult to get past. Once you go through the steps to get the assistant, keep typing Agent into the blank field until the assistant finally responds and notifies an eBay agent.

OP1 year agoYeah, I already tried that, but it still only offers a phone call.
I spent like 20 minutes trying — no luck.
Really frustrating since I can’t speak and need text chat only.
