I am experiencing lag in trying to maneuver through Ebay. Anyone else affected by this? At first I thought it was me, my computer, but it only happens in Ebay.

Mentor8 months agoYou are most welcome -- glad to hear you found that Edge is working better for you.
As to Firefox, if the problem persists, try temporarily disabling add-ons to see if that makes a difference. Sometimes a conflict with an add-on can cause all sorts of problems. Language tools and grammar checkers have been known to cause problems from time to time.

Mentor8 months agoIf the problem occurs primarily when searching or viewing search results, try temporarily disabling your ad blocker. Certain filters ("anti-circumvention filters" in Ad Block or "ADB filters" in Ad Block Plus) are notorious for slowing down search results pages.
If that does not help, or if the problem affects other pages, try another browser entirely. Preferably the latest version of a popular browser you have not used before with default settings an no add-ons installed. If that works better than your current browser, try clearing your cache in your original browser, and possibly try manually erasing just your eBay cookies.
Thursday nights are when eBay does server updates, and that can sometimes cause unstable behavior in the site for some users.

OP8 months agoThank you for your suggestions. I already disabled my ad blocker and cleared my cache and ebay cookies. They did not help and it is happening on all pages. I have been trying to list some sports cards and yesterday afternoon it was so slow I gave up. This morning, early (5:50am), I tried again and was able to list 3 cards within 5 minutes. Yay, I thought, then it went back to only 4 cards in 30 minutes. It is most frustrating.
I will try another browser, Edge? We'll see.
Thanks again, Dee
