I Am Being Ripped Off, Need Help to Contact a Human at Ebay
I purchased an item on Monday of this past week which has not shipped, I have contacted the seller numerous times and they keep making excuses for not shipping, and then they finally stopped communicating with me all together.
I empathize with their situation if true, but they seem to be able not to do business at this time because of their personal problems, that is OK, I understand people get sick, etc., but the fact is they continued to set expectations they could not meet which is the real problem here, credibility in doing what you say you are going to do.
Because the seller created a shipping label with a projected ship date, and never shipped, ebays automated system keeps telling me the item is on it's way, even though the seller told me in several messages, the item has not been shipped, plus the USPS has also validated the item never was dropped off to be shipped.
I asked the seller to simple refund my money and contact them when they are able to do business in a proper manner, they have not responded so I need to get ebay involved, plus I want a refund.
Ebay is a typical big tech lobster trap, easy to get in and buy something, impossible to reach a human being for customer service or to resolve a problem in a timely manner.
Can someone please help me get out of ebay's automated system that keeps telling me my product has been shipped, when it clearly has not been shipped, plus I may be getting ripped off by a seller who is giving ebay a bad names as this is the first and last time I will evert buy anything on this platform while warning my friends and family to steer clear from this lobster trap. any help is much appreciated. Thanks- Rex

Mentor2 years ago@lcqb7346 I am sorry that you are having trouble with your seller. eBay is going to say to wait until ONE business day after the last estimated delivery date to file the refund request. That is the soonest that eBay can force the seller to issue a refund.
Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when the item is at least a day late.
Select your item on this page to start a refund request:

4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.

OP2 years agoThank you very much for your help. I apologize for my rant, but I liked the world when the customers did not have to help each other, but rather they got great service from the companies they do business with. I will take HI over AI any day, HI being Human Intelligence. I believe I will be doing business with live humans going forward.
Have a blessed day- Rex
