I agreed to pay 98 with Free Shipping . and NOW It says PICKUP 2000 miles Away
I made a purchase on ebay which said FREE SHIPPING. I completed the PURCHASE with PayPal for 98.00. Then I got an email to "arrange" PICKUP 2000 miles away. The cost had also went up $8.00 Tax So then I logged back in to eBay and went to auto chatbot a basically worthless system. It indicated eBay would call me in 31 minutes. I never received a call. eBay has basically become an untrustworthy site. Now I have to jump through all kinds of hoops to get in touch with paypal and the FCC

OP5 months agoit did NOT Say free "LOCAL" pickup. It said FREE "Shipping" "shipping" and "pickup" are two totally different things. ebay is becoming a scam. Why would I agree travel 2000 to pick a 98.00 item

Do you have an eBay item number to look at the listing?
When Sellers add Local Pick-up eBay states Free for the Local pick up but if the Seller also offers shipping then the price for that is listed, unless that part is set for Free shipping. Regardless, it sounds like you selected the Local pick up instead of the Shipping option, if there was one. That is not a Seller's mistake.
