I accidentally bought a fraudulent listing on eBay how can I go about it?
The item I bought is fake, as I have seen the same listing from a different seller. The seller refused to cancel my order and has not responded to any of my messages. They also have feedback on the same thing: one review received an old spoon and broken bits of metal, suggesting this isn't the first time this has happened. This seller appears to be fraudulent.
The images in the listing are from multiple sellers, and I sent a cancellation request just minutes after placing the order when I noticed it was from Pakistan. 3 hours later with no response, the item is sent as untracked despite being valued and paid for at £410, and it is scheduled to be delivered in a month's time from now. Additionally, the manufacturer is listed incorrectly; it should be Nintendo, not "1320, Inc," which is a second-hand car company.
Furthermore, the item is labelled as "Ancient Origins," but this is incorrect since it should be "Paldean Fates."
I accidentally purchased this listing, and the seller is essentially scamming me out of £410. How can i go about this?

OP8 months agoAlso, the item is untracked as I mentioned, so there will not be a proof of delivery

Mentor8 months ago@pokeswordtraders. Tracking while nice to have as a buyer is for the sellers protection to prove delivery.
This means that when you file a not received refund request when it is one day PAST the last estimated delivery date you will easily win the case because there is no proof of delivery.

OP8 months agoI get all this, but the seller doesn't respond and proceeds to send it 3 hours after the request with no response. Also, the item is due to arrive in 1 month....

Mentor8 months ago@pokeswordtraders You will have to file a not received refund request one day after the last estimated delivery date.
OR a not as described RETURN request within 30 days of delivery.
I understand that this is frustrating but it is how the site works.
An agent can not cancel an order for you. You have to go through the refund process.
The return case goes on the sellers record.
