Question

I had an item listed with buyer paid shipping and the buyer paid for the item including the shipping but turned out he lived the next town over so we met and I gave him the item in person. I had already printed the USPS label and then manually marked the item as shipped and now the funds are on hold and I'm not sure how to resolve this. Doesn't look like I can cancel the label. I have gone around and around in circles with the chatbot with no resolution it keeps sending me back to cancel the shi...

Your payment may just be delayed, but it will eventually be released, usually within 31 days.

The action you should have taken would have been to cancel the transaction, relist the item for local pickup, and provide the new item # to the buyer so he could repurchase it.He would be provided with a code for you to enter into the transaction for proof of pickup.

Without tracking for this order, you will receive a defect on your seller metrics.
