I’m so frustrated with sales restrictions
I’ve sold on eBay off and on for decades, recently I’ve probably been on a few years break but I just went to make a bunch of sales posts and I’m restricted to only selling $65 a month? And my request for increase is denied? Ive never had a restriction on my selling before and now I don’t even have an option to post more than one item a month? What is happening??

Mentor8 months agoThe feedback you have received as a buyer is more than a year old. You have never received any feedback as a seller. Therefore, you will have restrictions and limits as a new seller, until you prove you are reliable. You can request a limit increase once a month.

When you have not sold anything in over a year you go back to being a new seller in ebay's eyes, so there are limits on how many items you can sell and/or on the cost of your items. I have not heard about a $65 limit before though. Open the link below.

You will also have a 30 day hold placed on your first few payments. The funds are there but marked as Pending but the amount you charge for shipping is available to use to purchase shipping labels through ebay.

OP8 months agoYa the $65 a month is what’s throwing me off 🤔 I could work with the 9 item limit a month but I can only sell $65? And I remember being a new seller I was able to post tons of stuff for sale,(that was a long time ago not sure if things have changed) it’s almost like I’m being punished for something not reverted back to square one? And I thought I wasn’t able to get an explanation because I still can’t find a way to interact with a human who can tell me about my account 🤷â€â™€ï¸

A low seller limit often indicates that critical information is missing from your account, or possibly such information is no longer up-to-date. You may need to contact eBay directly to find out what information you need to supply to get your account up-to-date.
