i’m new to eBay
I listed an item today for my first time says the item has been posted. However, we cannot find the listing by a search or description. What can I do

Listings can take about 24 -30 hours before they can be searched for on the site. The first few listing are the slowest to index to the site, after that it's usually much quicker.
If your listing is on this active listings page then it's just waiting it's turn in the queue to index to the site. https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active

If you still do not see your listings in search after 30 hours contact eBay customer service and have them take a look at your listings

eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.

2. Request a call back or live chat
( If you receive the automated chat assistant type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the right department)
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media.
