Hydro boost for GM 2500HD
Hello, this is my issue. I purchased a New part for my truck . I was rebuilding this truck, with all new parts. I finally finished everything in January 2024. I have only put 1000 miles on the truck at this point .July 2024. This past weekend coming home from the lake while yowing my boat. A 19ft center console. I was coming down a hill with steep grade. I applied pressure to the brake pedal. Normal pressure to slow down and heard a pop noise. Then I had no brakes or steering. The hydro boost exploded , fluid went all over the hot engine. Could have caught fire.
My family was in the vehicle when this happened. If it was not for quick reaction and driver experience it could have been 4 dead on the headlines. This company putting these parts out needs to be stopped. They are selling unsafe faulty parts that can possibly kill or injure people .
