    HUGE mistake- shipping costs!!!
                     

    I have been selling on Ebay for years...no problems...until today. I listed a small youth rocking chair for $99 (it sold AND was paid for within an hour) now I know why....I had $50 for shipping fee...went to prepare for shipping today..actual shipping fees are $198.81 with UPS or $346.83 with Fed Ex!!!!!!! Needless to say I cannot ship this out, how do I handle the situation, other than writing and profusely apologizing to the buy??

    When you cancel the sale you need to select ‘I am out of stock/I can’t complete the sale’. Then, as you described, apologize profusely to the buyer and hope they do not leave negative feedback.
