how to use ebay gift cards

Question

I would like to use my ebay gift card but i am not seeing the option to use the gift card. How do I add my gift card as a payment option?

@mtanmand0 < i am not seeing the option to use the gift card > You might be trying to pay for a restricted item. You can’t use an eBay gift card to buy bullion, coins, paper money, virtual currency, coupons, or other gift cards. https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/paying-items/ebay-gift-cards?id=4640

When you go to ebay Checkout to pay for a purchase, you scroll down to the field to enter the codes for coupons/rebates/gift cards. Any amount that is not used will be available in your account for use the next time you make another purchase.
