OP10 months agospoke to (3) ebay reps on the phone - none of them could even find where to turn off autopay - they said I would just have to refund excess shipping to buyers that wanted to combine orders. this is unacceptable - it never used to be this way - I want to get rid of autopay altogether!

To turn off automatic payments (as a seller):
Go to the buyer management page:
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements
Scroll down to the very bottom and UNCHECK "Require buyers to provide a payment method before they place a bid." AND uncheck "Require buyers to provide a payment method before they make an offer"
