How to tell what the original listing date is of an item that is for sale? It is not my item.

Question

I have an item I want to sell. I checked ebay to determine what might be the best price to list it for.

I would also like to know how long the item has been listed for sale. Has it been lingering at the price posted, or is it a recent listing?

Within Seller Hub, eBay has a Research tab to explore recent price points and trends.

I don't think eBay publishes the age of listings anymore. You can sort by newest first, and you will see the month, but not the year. If you have an item number, I can try to locate the start date for that item.
