How to talk to a REAL PERSON

Question

IS there ANYWAY to talk to a real person? I bought an item but paid as a guest, not through my account. The box arrived today EMPTY. My part is not in the box!! I try typing the order number into ebay and it says NO SUCH ORDER. BUT there IS!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you inadvertently purchased as a Guest.

First, you are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

Next, you may have inadvertently purchased as a Guest so you will have to log OUT of your eBay account to do anything with the Guest purchase. The email you received should have a link for you and this Help page will assist you as well: Buying as a guest | eBay

On a side note, Guest purchases cannot be merged with an eBay account nor can you leave Feedback on the transaction.

You have some options for being in contact with eBay if the Guest purchase info above does not help you.

We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type â€œAGENT in the box. You can also contact eBay through Social Media if you have accounts there.
