How to stop receiving email notifications and messages for every step after purchasing an item!
I have been bidding and buying quite a bit on eBay the last couple of months and I am frustrated with the useless and duplicate emails and messages I keep receiving for every item that I purchase or bid on. I don't need to know that "the seller is packing my order"or that "my package is now with its carrier", etc., etc. I also don't want to be notified by message that I've been outbid. I can see that in my bids/offers list. I have checked my email/communications preferences and there is no visible means to opt out of these emails or messages.
Delivery options: Only gives me a choice for graphics or text-only.
Buyer: Does not have a box to check to opt out of the emails I cite above. I have unchecked the "outbid", "item received" and "item shipped" boxes but I still receive messages for the former and emails for the 2 latter. This is true whether I use the website of the app.
Any info to help me manage these notifications according to my preferences would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mentor4 months agoI hate receiving notifications as well, since I am on ebay daily. I have blocked all options that ebay shows, as well as creating a rule in my Outlook to send all items from ebay to the recycle bin.
