How to stop notifications?

Question

I was looking for an item for a while, watching a few etc., one of which I bought. But I keep getting notifications about similar items for sale for which I am no longer interested. How do I shut these off?

If you have any saved searches, check each to see if you have email alerts enabled; stop the alerts if you do not want those any more.

Otherwise, check your Communication Preferences under Buyer for settings like "Offers to Buyers" which will generate offers on items you have added to a cart, added to your Watch List, or viewed more than once (or once for a long enough time).
