How to speak with someone on eBay customer support

Question

I had someone contact me about my ebay account they had all my info and stated they worked for ebay and had a ebay number and told me the only way I could get my money back for a return was to go buy a ebay gift for $200 and once I did that they would add the 35$ to the card . I need to speak to a real person from customer service is there a number?????

@johnny_dapper8181 There is no need to speak to anyone at Ebay. It was clearly a scammer, NOT an Ebay employee. Stop all communication with the criminal.

You were not talking to eBay. They are scammers with fake eBay numbers, anyone asking for gift cards is a fraud.
