How to speak with an ebay agent

I have a problem with a purchase and the seller is not cooperative. I started a return but he closed it without making any notes. I do not see the option 'Ask eBay to step in and help'.

Can anyone assist in getting a hold of an eBay agent or eBay customer service?

Thank you for your assistance.
I tried every single method as outlined in that article. Not one method gives me the ability to engage eBay agent. They all take me to other articles on what to do but neither one of them connects me with an agent.
I took your advice and posted on www.facebook.com/eBay. Let's hope someone will reach out to me or provide a method to contact someone at eBay.

I wonder why eBay makes it so difficult for a buyer to contact them!

For general questions you can try asking on the discussion boards. Experienced users can offer suggestions.

Or you can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.

If using the "Contact us" link takes you directly to the chat assistant window, you may have to enter some context dependent cues to get to the call back link.
