How to show video when requesting refund
Summary: xfoj3954 explained that they bought a mouse from a seller and discovered the scroll wheel didn't work despite assurances to the contrary. They are trying to secure a refund through eBay's money-back guarantee but faced challenges because the faulty scroll wheel issue couldn't easily be showcased with photos. They asked for advice on how to upload a video proof to assist their claim. krazzykats suggested returning the item via eBay’s return policy by selecting 'Not as described' and printing the return label for a refund.
Hello, I bought a mouse a week ago and it just came in today. I specifically messaged the seller asking if there was any mechanical issues, to which he said there were none. Upon arrival, the scroll wheel did not work, as when I tried to scroll up or down on a page, it wouldn’t register to the computer and would also lock up. The seller doesn’t offer returns, but I’m backed by eBay money back guarantee. I just submitted my return request, but was only allowed to upload photos, and there wasn’t really a photo I could take to showcase that the scroll wheel doesn’t work. If there is issues with the seller accepting the return, how do I go about showcasing to eBay that the scroll wheel doesn’t work via video, as I believe that will help my case out a-lot. Thank you for anyone who read this, I appreciate it.

Mentor3 weeks ago@xfoj3954 You cannot add a video to a return request. Just add the required photo and state the problem.

Mentor3 weeks agoIt shouldn't be a problem getting a refund for it.
Go to your purchase history and under more actions, select I want to return it. Not as described. Print the return label and send it back.
