How to show order as delivered
I shipped two items together and only used one of the tracking numbers. I added the (one) tracking number to the other item, which I has also had given the buyer a partikal refund for the combined shipping.
Both item were delivered as the buyer has already given me positive feedback, but the 2nd order only says "partially refunded" insted of Delivered like the other item?
I am not sure how to change this and I was dinged by eBay for not shipping ontime?
Thank you!
Cindy

The partially refunded message "sticks." You can't change it.
The ding for not shipping on time is not related to that message display (or to whether or not the item has been delivered). Maybe you uploaded the tracking to the second order late.

Okay, I understand that I can't change the status to that order.
As for the tracking information. I did ship ontime. Both items were shipped the same day as purchased. I think the issue was that I only used one of the tracking numbers. I updated the 2nd order with a note that I was using the first tracking number to ship both items. The note is actually pinned in that 2nd order.
I think the main problem that I had was because the buyer purchased these items separately. They then asked me to combine shipping, which I did by refunding the shipping on the 2nd order and printed out a shipping label with the combined shipping for both items under the first tracking (order).
Oh well - it's one of those things? So much for trying to being honest, fair, and ontime!

Adding the tracking # as a note won't help where the defect calculations are concerned. The program can't read your notes. You need to add the tracking # in the tracking field. Do that now, and you may be able to have the defect removed by contacting eBay here:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling/seller-performance-overview/appeal-defect-late-shipment?id=4871&st=3&pos=1&query=Appeal%20a%20defect%20or%20late%20shipment&intent=appeal%20a%20defect&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1532
Something to be aware of if you aren't already...
You cannot combine shipments when buyers make multiple orders under different IDs or through guest checkout - even if the name and address are the same. If there is more than one order from the same person, you will be able to discern guest orders by scrutinizing the user ID which is almost identical but not exactly the same. Those orders would have to be shipped separately as you can't add the same tracking number to orders from two different buyer IDs.
