·3 years agoUSPS has a very secure "registered mail" service that can be added to your priority mail postage, although it will slow the traveling time:

If the watch is brand name, it would ship by FedEx through eBay's authentication program, which protects both buyer and seller from scams.

For a coin, the more pressing issue is whether the buyer will run a scam, claiming the item is defective, and then return a fake. If the item is too expensive to lose, I would recommend liquidating through a local coin trader.
