How to retrieve money lost to ebay scams
I have emails from ebay I used gift cards to make a purchase. The emails say it's paid but there is no purchase listed

·1 year agoEBay has nothing to do with anything you may see on some other website!
If you sent gift cards numbers to someone the money is gone.

Mentor1 year agoIf you do not see the item in your Purchase history, it sounds like you may have made the purchase as a Guest.
Guest purchases are separate from items you purchase while logged into your account.
Check your email for a message from ebay that includes the PASSCODE that was given to you. Log in with that email address and PASSCODE and you should be able to file a case for Item Not Received, or a Returns Request, as the case may be.

The email from eBay was a fake!

1) Are you sure that it's a real email not a phishing attempt?
You can forward the email to spoof@ebay.com for review.
2) Do you have any eBay gift cards loaded on your account? If not don't worry.
