How to reserve a listing for a customer?

Question

Somebody wants to buy my item on ebay, but asked to reserve this item for 3 days, so he can arrange the money.

It seems there's no way to do that?

Can I take the item temporarily offline? Any other ideas?

Or the first buyer with the money gets the item. Why reserve an item for someone with no money when you could sell it to someone with the money?

If it is fixed price you can just set the quantity available to zero and then change it back three days later.

Additionally you can set the price extremely high and put best offer on it, then only accept this buyer's offer at the agreed on price.
