how to report being scammed on ebay???
I ordered a set of 2 Black and Decker 18v rechargeable batteries from yaohong72. I received 1 battery and it was the wrong one. I messaged yaohong72 and they are trying to compensate me with $2. The order won't show up on my ebay, but I have an order #14-14346-02444 and an email showing that I ordered. I have read a message that they have done that to someone else. I have an email to prove that I ordered and received 1 battery.
This is the message I received back from yaohong72:
Hello，I am very sorry. As a newcomer, I mistakenly provided the wrong link; I have since corrected it, but my boss is quite upset. I really need this job, and I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. I would like to offer you $2 as compensation，would that be acceptable? I look forward to your reply. Mila

Mentor5 months agoIs it possible you made the purchase as a Guest?
Purchases made as a guest are separate from purchases made as a registered member. You will need to sign in with the email address you used as a guest along with the PASSCODE that ebay sent to you in an email. Then you can file a Returns Request, or an Item Not Received case.
Locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. ebay sends you a link to print out the label. Print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
If the seller is from another country, s/he will have to send enough funds to cover return shipping, because the seller cannot provide a shipping label good in this country, or refund in full without having you return the item. If the seller does neither, click on the link to Ask ebay to step in, when it shows up in the case.

OP5 months agoThe main problem is the purchase I need to get a refund for is not showing up as something I purchased. However I do have a couple of emails that shows I ordered and received the item, which is no help at all for me to get a refund. What do I do now???? Please help me, Bea Bagwell
