How to report an electronic item that has multiple listings, but cannot be activated
I have noticed that there are many Amazon Echo Connect devices (search for Echo Connect A05B83) for sale on ebay, with recent sales. Just now, there were 67 listings for sale, and 8 had sold recently. However, in 2023, Amazon discontinued support for this device, and they can no longer be activated by a new user. So anyone who buys one off eBay will have a non-functional device.
This would seem to be a violation of the ebay user agreement, since devices must be functional unless listed as "non-working" or "for parts". Although sellers might not know these devices won't work, it would make sense for ebay to have this device on a list of things that cannot be sold without a disclosure.
How to report this?
