How to report a potential buyer as scam
I was contacted by a potential buyer on an item in a private message. They asked if I would accept a lower price and we negotiated on an agreed upon amount. I set the listing up to accept offers. Next thing I know, I'm receiving an email "from Ebay" stating that the seller " is offering to sell you [item] for [amount], and you can respond with your offer." Of course the "sell you" portion has me on notice that this is likely scam. I have searched through the different options to contact customer service to report the individual, but I can't find the appropriate selection. How do I get in contact with customer service to report this person? I'm afraid someone may fall victim to this scam.
