How to receive a receipt from a Previous purchase
I need a previous purchase receipt for an item I purchased. I need it to file an insurance claim. When I look on my eBay Account for this particular purchase, it will not let me find the completed transaction for when I purchased this item.

How long ago was the purchase?
You should be able to go to your Purchase History to find the item and click on Order Details.

OP2 years agoBecause I sold the bike to another eBay user, I cannot retrieve my original purchase information. It keeps saying something like the bike has been sold and no purchase history available for my original purchase off eBay. In other words, I purchased this off of eBay and then later turned around and sold it to another eBay buyer. Now I can’t retrieve my original receipt of my purchase. I’ve tried desperately to get in touch with an actual agent for eBay and cannot. I’ve clicked on everything in self-help and support and get nowhere for the specific problem that I have.

Regardless of the sale, your original purchase should still be in your purchase history.
