How to put a listing on hold

Question

I have a buyer who wants to buy a retablo from me but he will not have enough money to do so until this Friday

How do I hold this item with out having to end the listing then list it again when he has the funds?

-eBay has no feature to do what you want to do.

-Ending a listing is easy, use the drop-down menu on the left side of the item and select End.

-The listing will move to your Unsold file and remain there for 90 days or until you Relist it or Delete it.

-Raise the price by triple and let the Buyer know they should message you when they return so you can lower the price back down. Of course if someone comes along and buys it at the higher price then that's not the worse thing that could happen.

You cannot "hold" the item for them. If they are lucky, the item might still be available until they have the funds to purchase the item.
