How to prevent ebay from refunding on a return I have sent replacement item on?

I sent the wrong size and the buyer started a return but she just wanted the correct item which I have sent but ebay says to refund within 2 days . How do I prevent them from refunding?

Unless you had the replacement option on your return policy that the buyer selected you need to tell the buyer to either keep the wrong item and/or buyer needs to cancel the return. Otherwise, if the return label is used, ebay will refund.

If you accepted the return, ebay sends a link to the buyer to print out a return shipping label. When tracking shows Delivered back to you, you have 2 days to refund the buyer. You can then relist the item for the buyer to repurchase and pay.

If the buyer never returns the item, you can go to the returns request and close/cancel the case and the refund will not be made to the buyer.
