How to post a review on a year old purchase?
I purchased an HVAC motor with motor module from a seller a year ago. I immediately informed him that the motor was only running at a slow speed and the circuit board could not adjust the speed, but he insisted that it was my equipment or wiring. We corresponded back and forth for several months during which my heating system continued to work ( but not properly), while I continued to trouble shoot. In the end, he was adamant that the issue was with my equipment, and that I needed to call in an HVAC technician. I knew that would be very expensive, so I continued to test my equipment and even rewired the entire HVAC system. I finally decided that I must bring in a technician who, replaced the motor module, and then all worked properly. But I had to pay him $1,483.59! Not that I expect a refund, but an acknowledgment that he was wrong would be nice. I sent two messages to the seller informing him of the final solution and my cost, but he did not even give me the courtesy of a reply! That makes me upset. I would like to go back and give him a poor rating, but I cannot find a way to do it since the purchase is marked 'closed', and does not even showing up on the ebay system. Does anyone know how I can still do a review?

OP3 years agoThanks for that. I paid him $200.00 for the motor w/module, and although he was responsive to my questions about why it was not providing acceptable speeds, in the end, he refused to believe the module on the motor he sold me was defective. I therefore reluctantly followed his advice and sought professional help. I ended up paying over $1,400 to replace the module that I told him was defective from the beginning!
I just wanted future purchasers from this seller to be aware of this experience if they have a similar situation developing. (PS. I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.)

·3 years agoYou might want to ask yourself why you waited so long to take the problem public. And remember, the problem is how the item didn't work when you got it, not the year you waited or the cost you paid someone else to get it running.
