How to opt out of ebays shipping
I have been selling vintage postcards for over twenty years on ebay. I have been charging a flat fee, $1.60, that covers a envelope, backing, and first class stamp. Now I can't do a listing because ebays shipping does not have a first class envelope option I have spent spent several hours trying post a listing for a lot of 4 postcards. I would rather stick to my system of shipping a postcard, and opt out of ebays shipping.

Mentor7 months ago@rocker-sd You can still ship with a postage stamp. If you don't see first class for some reason then just select the (OOPS, something has changed)
I just did a test draft on my account that does NOT have business policies for a sports card and I am only able to select eBay Standard envelope, Ground, ground advantage or Priority.
I tried another one for a Post Card by using "sell one" from one of your listings and I DID have the option to select other shipping methods.
So something is in the works of being changed is my guess.
Two ways around this issue>
ONE create a business policies that you can select when listing your item>

OR create a Listing Template for your Post Cards that has the First Class shipping method. Then you just change out the title and photos each time>

Mentor7 months agoSince you are selling postcards, you can select the ebay Standard Envelope.
No smaller than 3.5 x 5
No larger than 6.125 x 11.5
Envelope thickness is uniform, less than 0.25 inches at all points, and not too rigid.
Make sure they can wrap around a Coke can easily.
