How to omit from my searches, certain: 1) keywords, 2) sellers, 3) items
Certain sellers and search phrases consistently contaminate my search results with custom/counterfeit/altered products and deceptive product names, most of which would be simple enough to omit by hiding results from a small handful or sellers, or even a specific search term.

Mentor8 months agoSpecific keywords can be excluded from search so that listings with those keywords in the title or item-specifics will not appear in your results by putting a minus sign directly in front of the keyword you want to exclude. So if you want to search for widgets but exclude yellow ones, try this search:
Phrases can be excluded by enclosing the phrase in quotes and putting a minus sign in front with no space between the minus sign and the quote.
Excluding sellers by username can be done on the Advanced Search page using the Seller section. Add the username (or up to ten usernames separated by commas) into the appropriate field and choose "exclude". Note that you must use the username, not the store name. The seller username should appear on the seller's feedback page if the seller has a store.
Once you have set up the search the way you like, bookmark or save the search to be able to run it again without having to set up all the exclusions again.
