How to know if you can trust a seller

I made a relative large purchase from a seller. We had communicated by messaging and he seemed credible. Then nothing. I made an offer which was declined twice so I paid full price which had a shipping and tax included. He wrote me and the day after I bought it and ask for more shipping money and said he would contact me April 6. I paid in good faith and I want the product I purchased. I have heard nothing more from him. How do o get the product I purchased. I do not want a refund .

@sailawayblue704 . The seller isn't allowed to ask for more shipping than stated on the listing. eBay can't force the seller to ship but they can make the seller issue a full refund. Sorry your purchase didn't go smoothly. Here's how to get your money back. Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when it is one day PAST the last estimated delivery date . You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on eBay.
