    How to keep the auction botton off
                     

    Hey I when to list a new item to sell on buy it now and turned off the auction button and it keeps coming back on by it's self why is that

    It sounds like you are using the Quick Listing Tool, which I think defaults to auction.  I use the advanced/business tool, and I only list using fixed price/Buy It Now.  If you want to upgrade, so you have more control over your listings, that option is in the upper right corner of your screen.
