How to I get eBay to step in and help when the purchase is over 6 months old?
I made a purchase back in April from this seller: dsanker_outlet. In about 90 days the item failed to work. I contacted the seller about a replacement or refund and they refused the refund but said they would make the purchase good by sending me a new item when they got their new stock. This communciation began in July. There was some disagreement as to whether I had made the purchase within the 90 day window but the seller refused to give me a refund. So I told them I would wait for the new stock. It has taken a long time for them to get the new stock in. Now we are 7 months from when the initial product was ordered and I discovered that they have finally gotten the new stock listed on their website. I have sent them several emails requesting that they honor their commitment, but they refuse to respond to my emails. I contacted them in September asking how much longer it would be before the new stock would be received. No answer. I discovered in November that the new stock had been listed on their website so I have reached out 4 more times but have not received any reply. I'd like to get eBay invovled but due to the time it has taken to get to this point, I can't get to them either. Any ideas would be appreciated.

There is nothing you can do through Ebay because it is beyond the Ebay 30 day Money Back Guarantee.
Paypal and most credit cards allow disputes up to 180 days from date of purchase, so that time frame is also expired.

OP2 years agoThanks for the quick response and the encouraging information. I believe the seller may have delayed a response just so they wouldn't have to honor their commitment. This was a $60 item. I do not plan to order from them again.
