How to I do a claim to USPS for a lost item I sent to my buyer
How do I to a claim for a lost item sent to my buyer? It was sent with the eBay standard envelope, so it has limited tracking. Tracking says its delayed, which I know from experience can mean it will never show up. Although there are times when it might say that but the item was actually delivered. In any case, eBay standard envelope shipping comes with $20 insurance. How do I put this claim in? Do I do it or eBay? eBay has held up funds to me but if it is lost then I'm out money they are holding plus the product.
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Mentor11 months agoIf the buyer has filed an Item Not Received case, and you have refunded, you can get reimbursed here:

OP11 months agoAs mentioned, eBay is holding funds to me. But I am out product. I assume eBay will refund the customer, which I guess is like me refunding the customer, correct? If so then I will follow the instructions you provided.
