How to handle this return.
I’m sold a knitting machine. Buyers first item buying off eBay. Almost a month after they received item, they had to buy something to complete the machine, it does not work properly. After they opened a return case, come to find out that it was damaged in shipping. I have filed a claim, but no box or wrapping was saved. I think they are willing to wait for claim but will eBay wait? I don’t want to spend another $200.00 on shipping the item back to me. It will not be wrapped to not get damaged any more then it is. So I will refund once the insurance pays there claim for damage. And they can keep the item. How do I handle the return. I don’t have the money to refund and wait and then if they do t pay because no box or packing was kept. B
