how to handle changing shipped item to hand delivered with local pickup
Sold an item to someone not far from me, contacted buyer and arranged local pickup after he'd paid. How do I mark item delivered?

Mentor2 years agoBest to cancel for buyer request and relist with the Local Pickup option for buyer to choose. This way buyer gets the pickup confirmation code to give you to maintain your ebay seller protection.

OP2 years agoToo late for that already delivered it to buyer, I sent his shipping refund through ebay with a note that we changed it to local pickup. He signed a packing slip on delivery as proof he received it.

Mentor2 years agoThen click on Mark as Shipped in the drop down menu next to the item. You funds will be on hold for a while and your ship rating will get a ding for no tracking.
