How to handle a buyer who provides a mailing address that does not exist?
What more can I do? USPS confirmed that the buyer verified address does not exist and the package is non deliverable. It has been traveling between two distribution centers and post office and circling four times to each location in the past sixteen days. I filed a service request and post office stated that it would be delivered to a different address in the same town and closed the case. I am unable to speak to someone at the local post office there. I did not provide a different address. I have been messaging buyer for ten days without response. It is currently at the post office in the recipient town and has been just sitting there for two days. Am I protected because buyer provided incorrect address? Not sure if I should file another request and state that if it cannot be delivered to the incorrect address, then return it to me. I believe that the buyer will be out the money and the item unless they pay me for new shipping to a new address. Is this correct?
