How to get seller to refund after he deceived me to wait too long for ebay rules.

Has been leading me on for return/refund since November. I have never had a problem with Ebay purchases before this seller. He intentionally told me to be patient & not leave bad review or contact ebay so the time to get guaranteed refund had passed. I am very close to cancelling my Ebay account. I filed complaint. Then automated chat said too bad. Any help or is this the new Ebay?

Mentor2 years agoeBay will help you for 30 days after the item was delivered. Do not listen to a seller who is telling you not to use the steps eBay provides.
Your option at this point is to file a chargeback with PayPal (if you used them to pay) and then if that doesn't work, with your credit card.
The clock is ticking on your paypal and credit card protection, contact them today.

OP2 years agoThank you for your reply & advice. I think I am beyond the time limits with my credit card as well. So shame on me for trusting this seller ( huluwa211). I will be more careful next purchase. It's a shame ebay doesn't police this type of seller better. Thanks again!

Mentor2 years agoThat is not likely correct. Most credit cards allow 60 or 90 days to file. Some even longer. You should give it a try.
